How are you paid?

We accept the NOW and COMP waiver, as well as private pay.  Private pay payment is based on the level of care needed.  That is determined after meeting with the Executive Director, Emmanuel Wohiren.

What is your ratio?

Our ratio is 1:10 in the Center, 1:6 in the community.  We also offer 1:1 in the Center for those individuals that qualify.

What are the qualifications for your staff?

All CCC staff are First Aid/CPR certified.  Ongoing training is a requirement, 16 hours minimum every year.  All staff are CPI certified, and trained in handling seizures.  For those working with individuals with advanced care, specialized training is ongoing.  Many staff at CCC are certified CNA’s.

Do you have a nurse on staff?

An LPN is on staff and works at CCC full time.  CCC is contracted with a Behavioral Specialist that visits the Center at least twice monthly.  CCC also has two RNs on staff that visit monthly, and are on call.

Are you closed for holidays or Spring Break?
We only close for the major holidays (Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July,Thanksgiving, etc.)  We do not close for Spring Break.
How do you handle weather emergencies?

We post our closings on our Facebook Site, as well as following the Cobb County School System for weather closings only.  We open regularly when Cobb County does a delayed opening.

Do you offer transportation?
We transport in a limited mile radius.
Do you provide services for those that are unable to use the restroom independently, eat independently, or that take medication?

Yes we do!
