CCC adjusts to both the needs and wants of individuals and their respective family members.
As a company we strive to anticipate the ever changing climate of the personal care services industry.
We understand that working with adults with disabilities requires a specialized staff. Each staff member must be compatible with the individual for which they work.
Client comments, concerns and complaints are taken seriously by CCC. Addressing feedback is a vital part of providing high level service to our individuals.
After Emmanuel Wohiren, Executive Director, decided that what was being offered to the developmentally disabled population wasn’t good enough, he set about making a Center that would serve the population in the manner they deserved.
CCC requires that all staff members have at least six months’ prior experience caring for individuals with disabilities. Staff training is an ongoing and a continuous process. This training includes a yearly minimum of sixteen hours covering everything from human rights to the identification of abuse.
Each staff member is certified in CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention. They must also pass a federal background check, DMV background check, a yearly physical, and TB Test.
CCC has a RN and a Behavior Specialist on call for any emergency that may arise. Integrated training is done with every individual to learn their likes, dislikes, and any health concerns that may be present.
Before a staff member begins an assignment a “meet and greet” is arranged to ensure that you and your loved one feel comfortable with the assigned staff member. Both the family and individual have meaningful input in choosing their staff member.
